- A law degree on 22/02/1983 at the University of Salerno, with a thesis in the institutions of law and criminal procedure entitled "From the crime of plagiarism to the crimes of opinion"

- Admitted to the Bar Association of Salerno from 05.06.1985;

- Register of Advocates in cassation and in the higher courts;

- Professor of Criminal Procedural Law (IUS 016) at the Faculty of Law of the University of Molise;

- Holder of the chair of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at the procedural law school of the University of Molise from 1.11.1998;

- Taught Criminal Procedure 2002 to 2006 at the Faculty of Civil Law at the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome;

- He has held the position of Commissioner in the Ministerial Commission of the Code of Criminal Procedure Reform (chaired by Prof. Giuseppe Riccio);
