Roberta Picardi

Roberta Picardi (PhD, Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa) is currently Associate Professor of the History of Philosophy at the University of Molise and member of the Executive Board of the Società Italiana di Studi Kantiani (SISKA). She was previously a Marie Curie Senior Fellow at the Fonds Ricœur in Paris, as well as a research fellow at the University of Pavia, the Bruno Kessler Foundation in Trento and the LMU in Munich. Her main areas of specialization are German Idealism and its legacy in contemporary philosophy.
She is the author of a monograph on Fichte’s philosophy of history, Il concetto e la storia (Il Mulino, Bologna, 2009), and of several essays published in national and international journals, such as European Journal of Philosophy, Revue de Sciences Philosophiques et Théologiques, Revue de Métaphysique et de Morale and Fichte-Studien.
