Rossano Pazzagli (1958), is Associate Professor at University of Molise and heis also Director of the ResearchInstitute “Leonardo” of Pisa, on the territory and the environment.
Graduated at the University of Pisa, he achieved the university research doctorate in history and civilization at the European University Institut of Florence and worked at the University of Torino. He was teacher of Environmental History, Sociology and Agricultural History at Pisa and Florence University.
His lines of research concern the economic and social history, the landscape, the local institutions and the socio-territorial identity, with particular attention to the transformations of the rural world in the modern and contemporary age; he is author of numerous publications concerning all of this.
He, also, presides the scientific committee of "Locus. Rivista di cultura del territorio”.
