2006 PhD in Environmental and Territory at the Molise University.

 

Thesis: Forest fire hazard, severity and risk evaluation and spectral analysis of regeneration of burned vegetation.

 

2001 graduated in Environmental Science at Molise University.

 

Thesis: Cartographic analysis and GIS use for geomorphological hazard assessment in the catchment area of Rivo stream (Italy)

2011/2014 -  Postdoctoral Fellowship on “Creating natural elements with connection function and spatial analysis using GIS in support of the LFIE DINAMO Action: C5: planting with native trees and shrubs trench and river edges ; C6: forested patches planting ; C7: native vegetation recover in marginal areas and along firm boundaries; C8 ex - situ conservation and propagation of native shrubs and trees ecotypes ", University of Molise.

2009 - Consulting for data processing activities and revising  Forest  Fire Prevention (FFP) Plans in Italian National Parks and State Nature Reserves for the project of  "Technical and scientific support to the forest fire prevention planning of Protected State Areas and National Parks, identification priority action areas (list red zoning FFP). "

 

2008-  Consultant for Italian Forest Sciences Academy (AISF) for inventorial data elaboration of the project “Pilot study on the use of National Forest Inventories to downscale European forest diversity spatial information in five test areas, covering different geo-physical and geo-botanical conditions”.

 

2006 - Postdoctoral Fellowship on dendrometric and structural data survey, data management with GIS analysis and multi-temporal dynamics analysis of MAB reserves Collemeluccio-Montedimezzo, University of Molise.

 

2005 - Scholarship on the following research areas: "Characterization, analysis and monitoring of forest fires regime in the Objective1 Regions", University of Molise.
