    500500women scientists - Pis    Pod Cb(MOLISE)MLP

    @500w Organizzazione no-profit
    A grassroots movement started by a group of women scientists in the US, with the aim to make science open, inclusive and accessible.
    Why do we need a 500womenscientists movement in Italy?
    Because across the globe, women in science face discrimination, harassment, unequal pay, and reduced opportunities. Instead of fighting alone against patriarchy, racism and oppressive societal norms, let’s take action and transform society together.
    Let’s
    - create a support network for women scientists here in Pisa where we can share personal and professional experiences
    - reach out to the local community, especially girls and members of minority groups, to encourage scientific interest and discourse,
    - confront sexual discrimination and harassment and any other forms of injustice and inequality in science
    - build a fair and inclusive scientific community dedicated to training a more diverse and thoughtful group of researchers
    - connect with other European pods to strengthen interactions between women scientists across Europe
    - have fun together in and outside science

      She loved/s studying, reading, exhibitions, travelling, nature.

      She has a great ecological coscienza and partecipa attivamente a marce e convegni sulla conservazione del pianeta, agricoltura biodinamica e circolare, e energie alternative/rinnovabili, biotecnologie trandisciplinari e innovative.

      Ama la fisica nucleare e l’ottica e durante i primi anni nel laboratorio a CB, ha contribuito a realizzare uno spettrofotometro a doppia lunghezza d’onda, doppio raggio, assemblando assieme, a tandem, due spettrofotometri, al fine di analizzare i citocromi della catena respiratoria mitocondriale nelle due forme, ridotte e ossidate, contemporaneamente. La strumentazione è stata ampiamente utilizzata durante il corso interdipartimentale di Biochimica Applicata, tenuto dalla stessa in numerosi AA, nelle esercitazioni tenute dalla stessa per il corso di Biochimica del Prof Passarella ed ha prodotto contributi a convegni scientifici internazionali e altri articoli scientifici (see BBA et Bioenergetics, Pallotta et al, 2004, e altri pubblicati dai membri del team di ricerca del Prof Passarella a Cb e Ba)

      Iscritta alla CGIL dal 91, poi lavoratori della conoscenza. E’ molto sensibile ai temi sociali sin da piccola ha partecipato a convegni, marce, raduni al fine di raggiungere una equità universale e un accettabile livello di libertà culturale e di benessere condivise da tutte le componenti della società civile.

      E’ dotata di una forte spiritualità che la porta a studiare e frequentare persone & convegni/seminari che hanno come oggetto di studio la profonda conoscenza delle diverse religioni nell’individualità delle differenze e nei comuni principi etici.
